I saw this week that former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen had got a new tattoo.
If you can't be bothered to click that link (and I won't blame you) Pietersen has had an outline map of the world tattooed across his chest, side and back. The key point though is that there are red stars added to the map showing where he has scored international hundreds.
I can't quite tell how many red stars there are - 23? - 20-something anyway - but it's a lot.
I have a tattoo and despite the fact that some people think they're addictive I have no great desire for another one (it was two hours of pain) but this gave me an idea. Like KP I could get a tattoo reflecting my sporting highlights.
I say highlights but there's really not a lot to choose from. A 22 break at snooker at the 147 Club near the railway, a 155 finish at darts in The New Inn at Stratton but they're a bit niche. I really can't look past football.
I could get a tattoo of the outline of Swindon and put a red star wherever I kept a clean sheet playing in goal for KMLC FC in the Swindon Sunday Football League.
I dug back through my file of football records and worked out that the design would look like this.
On second thoughts, perhaps I won't bother.
