Track of the Week - 5 July 2015
It's been hot this week. Proper hot. Holiday in the Mediterranean hot. I've been very grateful for the work air-con. The sunshine has been beating down.
And that's all the link I need to select this song this week. From Tracy Bonham's debut EP The Liverpool Sessions it's an older track (1995) but a recent purchase. I picked it up cheaply because I decided I needed the track 'I'm Not a Waif' in my life (not sure how I'll feature that one on this site though.)
The unexpected bonus was the EP opening with this track which has that quiet, female vocal vibe that advertisers seem to love at the minute. The words though are stranger and more sinister, you expect the song to go somewhere that it doesn't. See what you think.
