Track of the Week - 15 January 2017
Not last night, a couple of nights ago. But it did snow. Which doesn't happen that often round here so I thought it was worth mentioning.
Not big snow or lots of snow, just a dusting. Not like the snow from a few years ago where I couldn't get the car out of the road and the buses couldn't run. Not that sort of snow. But it did snow.
It looked lovely for a while but didn't last long before, as Chuck Cleaver eloquently says on this track, "everything turns back to grey".
This song is the opening track from the sixth and final Ass Ponys album, Lohio, which was released in 2001 and it's superb. Go on, give it a listen it's only a couple of minutes long.
Or you can have this poorly-recorded live version which doesn't really show how sweet the start of it is but it does get proper raucous at the end.
