Track of the Week - 23 April 2017
A break from the usual 'diary of a no-name' style to bring you an earworm I've been struggling to shift all week.
I've been playing the Pixies most recent LP, Head Carrier, in the car recently and while the album is a bit hit and miss this track has lived up to its name and got itself wedged in my head.
Written by frontman Black Francis in the form of a thank you letter to original bassist Kim Deal, All I Think About Now is sung by new bass player Paz Lenchantin.
It's sad, haunting, packed with regret and brilliant. Hit play and it might be all you think about too.
