Track of the Week - 9 June 2019
Let me give you a peek behind the wizard's curtain - I sometimes write these in advance. You'd never have guessed I bet.
As I write this I'm due to be going away playing golf with my friends this weekend. I say 'due' because the weather forecast is pretty bad.
Storm Miguel arrives overnight and may run into Saturday. Friday's round is in the balance and Saturday looks like hard work at best because of all the rain.
American rock/pop outfit OK Go seem happier about the rain in this track from their excellent 2005 album Oh No. The rain sounds welcome and seems to be cleansing the characters in the song as much as anything.
If the forecast is right for this weekend I don't think anyone needs that much cleansing.
