Shed Seven: Getting Better

I had an eye test this week. I was surprised to be told that my eyesight was getting better.

I suppose that can happen but I don't know whether the results may have been compromised by the fact the equipment kept steaming up due to me wearing a mask. I might have to get a second opinion before I shell out on some new glasses.

There are various options for a 'getting better' track but I've gone with York indie rockers Shed Seven. They're much more of a Mrs Tea At Johnny's group but I do like their (second) album A Maximum High and this is an excellent song.

Released in January 1996,  Getting Better reached number 14. It's very Britpop. It's a label that has come in for some flak as time has gone by but this shows when it is was good it was very good.
