Track of the Week - 14 February 2021
Because it is.
Not that we recognise it at Tea at Johnny's Towers. It's a load of tosh. I can understand it may be useful if you are trying to woo someone but if you're in a relationship, be nice to each other all year round. Not just when the major greetings card companies tell you to.
ABC's Valentine's Day is from their tremendous 1982 album The Lexicon of Love. (Will that pop up in my eighties album chart over at the Ghosts in the Next Room I wonder?)
It's very much in the vein of hit single Poison Arrow (which is a good thing) and the album probably introduced people around my age to the importance of 'production'. It still sounds fantastic.
