Track of the Week - 10 April 2022
I hadn't seen my friend Chris since last summer so we finally put that right this week. We met at the 'Boom Battle Bar' for an afternoon of electronic darts.
Not soft-tip, but a regular board somehow hooked up to an electronic scoreboard with suggested games to play. It was fun. Expensive fun, but fun nonetheless.
I've chosen Tick Tick Boom for a couple of reasons. It has boom in the title for one and, in an alternative universe where I'm good enough for a darts walk-on song this would be a contender. Oh, and it's ace.
Swedish rockers The Hives released Tick Tick Boom as a single in 2007 which scandalously didn't make our top 40. It's from the thoroughly decent The Black And White Album from the same year which did at least just about make the top 30 in that chart.
