The Kinks two weeks running - good times. And a confession to make, I thought this song was called Tired Of Waiting but I'm committed now so I need to make this work.
Had a good day out with some good friends yesterday. A couple of lunchtime beers, then to Swindon's 2-1 win over Hartlepool, a couple of evening beers and then for a curry.
Which is where the waiting came in, the 'You' in this case was our dinner. They found us a table quickly, got us some poppadums and drinks, were a bit slow taking the order (they were busy) but desperately slow getting the food out. I was tired of waiting for it by the time it arrived to be honest. (Lamb saag if you're interested.)
Tired of Waiting for You was a 1965 single and the band's second number one.
