While far from the biggest work at Tea at Johnny's Towers this week, my friend Ben came over to help fit some new window coverings.*

I'd suggested going for curtains but Mrs Tea at Johnny's said 'no, I'd rather go blinds.'

Written by Ellington Jordan and Etta James, blues classic I'd Rather Go Blind was recorded and released in 1967. Possibly a metaphor for James' heroin addiction, it's been covered many times since.
