It was sparsely attended. There was more chance of me being recruited by another organisation than me getting a passing member of the public interested in joining our team. Hey ho. Got to try these things.
I couldn't think of a 'volunteer' song off the top of my head so after keying that into Google and seeing the list I've plumped for this one.
Volunteers was a single from the 1969 Jefferson Airplane album of the same name. The lyrics point to it being more about recruiting people for a revolution rather than a town centre community space but we can't have everything.
I don't know it so let's hit play and see what we all think.
