This week Mrs Tea at Johnny's and I went to a cycling talk organised by the good people at the Historic England Archive.
It was in two parts. Firstly, journalist and writer Steve Silk spoke about his book on riding the Great North Road and making comparisons with the same journey made by early cyclo-tourism pioneer and writer Charles Harper.
That was followed by a presentation put together by the archive team, looking at some very old photos and discussing their identification and conservation. (Mrs TaJ had done some of the work on this.)
All that leads me to The Pushbike Song by Australian band The Mixtures. A number one in their homeland, it made number two here in 1971.
