This week Mrs Tea at Johnny's and I headed to Basingstoke for a talk by historian Lucy Worsley, which was centred on the author Jane Austen.
Mrs TaJ is the house expert on that subject and had read Worsley's book (Jane Austen at Home) on which the talk was centred. It's a look at how we can learn a bit more from Austen's writing from the houses she lived in during her short life.
So it's an easy step from that to Liverpool's new wave combo The Icicle Works and their 1986 single Understanding Jane.
It's alright but to my mind you're better off finding out their 1983 singles Birds Fly (Whisper to a Scream) or especially Love is a Wonderful Colour.
