A couple of months ago I wrote about Mrs Tea at Johnny's and mandolins and that's the theme again this week.
We headed to Bristol to see a mandolin ensemble rehearsing so that Mrs TaJ could get some inspiration and encouragement about her own playing. I was amused that the venue was the Greenway Centre as it reminded me of this week's selection.
I can't imagine that the Centre is named after this track or indeed Pete Greenway, Fall guitarist in the final line-up from 2007 through to Mark E Smith's death in 2018. From the patchy 2011 album Erstaz GB it's at the heavy rock end of the group's work and Smith seems to have had some sort of chest infection when he recorded his vocal.
A pretty straight lift from Greek rockers Anorimoi's song Gameboy, it's not one for those of a gentle disposition. Musically or lyrically.
It's a long way from a mandolin ensemble.
