Ned's Atomic Dustbin: Until You Find Out

Track of the Week - 27 October 2024

This week Mrs Tea at Johnny's and I went to a local theatre to see writer and sports journalist Ned Boulting performing his 'Marginal Mystery Tour - 1923 And All That' show.

It's based around his book '1923: The Mystery of Lot 212 and a Tour de France Obsession' which details his purchase of an old film reel during one of the Covid lockdowns and his subsequent investigations into it. It's a good story and Ned tells it very well.

So, we have someone called Ned and his quest to find out stuff which brings me to this track. Until You Find Out was a 1990 single for West Midlands indie rockers Ned's Atomic Dustbin and also features on their debut album from the following year God Fodder.

I think I might have one or two of their early singles. Might have this one but I'd have to go and dig through some boxes in the next room to be sure.

I like it. Certainly one that the kids would have been doing their aggressive dancing to at the indie discos of the time.
