There was much in the news in the early part of this week about the ISIS terrorist dubbed 'Jihadi John'. (I won't give him more publicity by linking to anything about him.)
Wouldn't life be so much better if we talked about Jilted John instead? I'll start that off.
Here's a Top of the Pops appearance from 1978. It has a man with blue hands and a dancer pre-dating Bez of the Happy Mondays by ten years or so*. Classic. It got to number four.
It's one of the first records I bought and is still lodged in the depths of my vinyl collection somewhere.
* and non-PC language. It was the 70s. Things were different there.
