I seem to have developed the role of quizmaster* where I work.
I already know of two I need to do between now and the end of February, doubtless at least another one will crop up between now and then, and this week I was asked to write one for a charity event next week.
Johnny Nash says that there are more questions than answers. That's not helpful when you're writing a quiz. You need an equal number of questions to answers. Otherwise the participants get stroppy. And our Legal department will probably kick off if that were the case.
Outside of the quiz arena Nash's question/answer relationship conundrum made it into our top ten in 1972. If my memory serves me well this was also the music played during the Mystery Guest Round in the BBC's A Question of Sport for many years. Perhaps older readers/those of a better memory could confirm.
* If I was Australian I'd be The Quizard of Oz.
