We're off to Newcastle (if you haven't guessed form the first sentence) for Mrs Tea at Johnny's' graduation this week. I don't think I've ever been so far north. Certainly on the east of the UK. I have been to Carlisle, which is on the other side, for a football match about 30 years ago. It must be pretty close.

Anyway, I don't normally get that close to Scotland so let's celebrate the fact with The Fall's 1987 single Hit The North. There are around half a dozen versions of this, here's part one. It got to number 57 don't you know.
