Tracks of the Week - 26 June 2016
I'll step outside my usual 'diary of a no-name' routine for this edition as it won't have escaped your attention that the historic EU Referendum took place this week.
I'm not getting into the whole politics thing here so I've chosen two tracks, one for each side of the argument.
If you're pleased with the Leave vote and the UK sticking it to the fat cat Brussels bureaucrats then you might enjoy Beck's Go It Alone from his rather good 2005 album Guero.
If you were in the Remain camp however and are now concerned about how the country will deal with making itself more isolated in an increasingly connected world then Morrissey's You're Gonna Need Someone on Your Side, one of his best post-Smiths efforts and the opening track from the 1992 album Your Arsenal, might be for you.
You decide which you prefer. There should be a poll or something.
