Snowy White: Bird of Paradise

Track of the Week - 8 April 2018

We took a visit to Mrs Tea at Johnny's' dad and stepmum in Buckinghamshire this weekend. While there we went off for a look round the excellent National History Museum in Tring.

If you're that way it's well worth a visit - as long as you don't mind taxidermy. I understand it can be a bit of a difficult subject so I won't start a debate here.

The museum is rammed with exhibits of animals, fish and birds of all descriptions. The birds in particular are excellent and the opportunity to be up close to the stunning bird-of-paradise specimens is not something that will come along that often.

This musical bird of paradise is a single by Snowy White (out of Thin Lizzy) that reached number six in 1984. I kind of remember the chorus but not a lot else. I don't think I've missed much.
