Track of the Week - 21 June 2020
Now that we're allowed to have a 'social bubble' with another household it meant I could be a bit more helpful to my mum.
This week that involved taking her to the cemetery. It's ok, I didn't leave her there.
Apart from 'I'm forever...' I couldn't think of a bubble song off the top of my head so I've had to do a bit of digging. I turned up this album track by James.
I absolutely adored the band's early chaotic indie pop but gave up after the third album. Probably because I think they'd turned up the commerciality on their music. It was 30 years ago but that sounds like the sort of thing I'd do.
Bubbles is from their tenth album, Hey Ma, which was released in 2008. It's good too. I might have to give some more of their newer stuff a listen.
