Track of the Week - 7 November 2021
We had a trip out to the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust's Langford Lakes this week. They had a small art exhibition on and they did a decent flapjack in the cafe. It was good to walk around the site too, even though there weren't any out of the ordinary birds in residence with the exception of a female Ruddy shelduck.
Langford Lakes is in the Wylye Valley down by Salisbury it meant that part of a journey was on the A303 past Stonehenge. As well as getting a bit of a look at the stone circle it does mean I can use this Kula Shaker song.
'The Ks' are more of a Mrs Tea at Johnny's band (she loves their early records like not a lot else to be honest) but I can certainly enjoy a lot of their stuff, and they were great live when we saw them in 2006.
303 is from their really rather good 1996 debut album K and hits the psychedelic rock/Britpop crossover on the button.
