If you read last week's post (and if you did, thank you) you'll have seen I was banging on about how hot it was again.
Last Sunday I went to the cricket at Southampton with some good friends. The day before I reminded them that as we would be sat in the blazing sun it would be best not to forget the Factor 50.
What followed on the day was various levels of rain for about three hours and by the time the sun did come out it was behind a grandstand and we were in the shade. I might be reminded of this for a while. You know what friends are like.
Indie rock/Britpop band Sleeper were at the height of their powers at this time. Factor 41 is from the 1996 platinum-selling excellent album The It Girl.
I don't know if there's a Factor 50 song but I'm not looking as it won't be as good as this. Magnificent song.
