Not those kind of drugs.
Despite having half of the allowed limit of anaesthetic (articaine I'm told) for my height and weight I could still feel the dentist poking about my gums. She wasn't happy about this so decided to stop the procedure.
It goes back to my infection a few weeks ago. Apparently infections are acidic and can neutralise the effect of anaesthetic. Who knew? (Apart from dentists.) So she put me on antibiotics and it's a case of try again next week.
I don't suppose there's anything new I can tell you about The Verve's 1997 number one The Drugs Don't Work that also features on their UK eleven times platinum-selling album Urban Hymns. Nope, can't think of anything.
