Track of the Week - 12 November 2017
We moved into our new office this week. It's a change after working on the same floor for six and a half years and the same block of the building for about 17. There's a better view for starters*.
It's not finished by a long way but we did have to unpack what we moved from the old space. More 'stuff from crates' than 'books from boxes' but it means I can bring Maximo Park to your attention.
This north-east indie rock combo have produced some great stuff over their six albums and this is from their second LP, Our Earthly Pleasures which is really rather good.
Books from Boxes is beautifully poetic and descriptive and reached number 16 in 2007.
* I don't look out of the window in the morning though because then I'd have nothing to do in the afternoon.**
** If anyone from work is reading, that is a joke.
