Track of the Week - 24 June 2018
After last week's sad events there's obviously much to do so it was a week of arrangements and sorting things out in various ways.
I broke off from that on Wednesday evening to meet up with my old work family for hugs and to bring them a quiz. I enjoyed it and hopefully it was a bit of fun for the team even if scores weren't the highest. I need to modify my questions to the age of the audience in future!
Sham 69 were a punk band who had five top twenty hits in 15 months across 1978 and 1979. Questions and Answers was the fourth of those five and reached number 18.
Their shouty bovver boy sound helped to spawn the punk-offshoot movement Oi! and attracted a violent crowd which brought their live career to an end in 1979. They split a year later but have been active in various incarnations since 1987.
