Track of the Week - 22 July 2018
I visited my old workplace a couple of times this week. Once to catch up with a couple of the chaps I used to work with and once for the company's Annual General Meeting. It was lovely to see so many of my old work family who were running the event.
As I used to refer to the building as 'the big house' I reckon I can get away with The Smiths' Back to the Old House this week. It was the b-side of the 1984 single What Difference Does it Make? and is a gentle, sad, wistful, acoustic three minutes.
Morrissey chooses not to go back to the old house but then not many people would want to see him anyway.
