Track of the Week - 9 May 2021
Not literally on fire.
After almost five months I had a haircut this week. Relief! It was Mrs Tea at Johnny's' Auntie Val who applied the scissors and clippers and is currently working 60+ hour weeks to meet demand. So metaphorically she can be described as being on fire in that regard.
Morrissey's Hairdresser on Fire was tucked away on the b-side of his 1988 debut solo single Suedehead. It seems far too good to have only been a bonus track on the 12 inch and CD versions but he had a lot of very decent material back then.
