If I thought it was hot last week then we had another five days of it. Proper heat wave stuff. Sheesh!
And yes, it might be lazy to talk about the heat two weeks running but it was too hot to think about this any harder. My full respect to all the people who had to work through it.
We haven't had enough Motown featured in the six and a half years I've been at this, so here are American vocal girl group Martha and the Vandellas with Heat Wave. It was a US number four in 1963, their first of six top ten hits over there.
