Track of the Week - 26 December 2021
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and are enjoying your Boxing Day
This track is from Elvis Costello and the Attractions 1983 album Punch The Clock. I don't own much of his immense catalogue, for the main part I've kind of liked things without ever feeling the need to buy them. Possibly a bit too clever/thoughtful for me at the time. But I do have this album.
It's not the track I thought I was going to bring you though. I was confusing it with the excellent Let Them All Talk (also on the album) and over the last 30+ years had created my own lyric with the words Boxing day in it!
This is pretty good too though.
