They Might Be Giants: We're the Replacements

Track of the Week - 29 January 2023

We had a chap visit Tea at Johnny's Towers this week to talk about perhaps replacing the roof and doors of our conservatory. Or the entire conservatory.

It's all too expensive so we need to find a Plan B. I also needed to find a Plan B for song choice this week as I used We Are Glass back in 2018.

So my replacement song about replacement glass this week is We're the Replacements by alternative rock/pop funsters They Might Be Giants.

Originally released in 1987 as a b-side to Don't Let's Start you can pick it up on various compilations about the band's early years. Which I would recommend.

(I can't recommend anything by the band The Replacements as I haven't heard them as far as I can remember.)
