Track of the Week - 12 February 2023
This week I went along to a small celebration for the place I volunteer at which has clocked up its first year.
It was a pub do, have a pint and a pizza on us sort of thing, at a place I know well. So why did I go somewhere different?
Did I assume it was the wrong place on the back of previous experiences? Was I confused by the description of the hostelry (by a main road, conservatory) which summed them both up rather well? Am I losing it?
Whatever, I eventually reached the right place and had an enjoyable couple of hours with some of the team.
Wrong Place is from The Fall's 2004 album Interim. It's pretty good considering it's a collection of rehearsals and live tracks from the time.
It's a version of Wrong Place, Right Time from the magnificent 1988 album I Am Kurious Oranj. But I've used that before hence this version.
